Born and raised in the beautiful City of Edinburgh I was introduced to photography by my father at a young age.

 

At 39 I suffered a stroke which took away my speech and put a stop to my chosen career. However, this turned into a blessing, as with my knowlege of Scotland after being on many family holidays and my hobby of hill walking I had the chance to pursue my dream of being a photographer.

 

With more time on my hands and my artistic eye I decided to make a career out of photography.

On the 26th of November 2015 I was very proud to receive the overall winner of the Royal Bonatic Gardens Photography Competition. The award was presented by Colin Prior.
